FAA Oklahoma City
FAA Oklahoma City is the
first FAA site ever to achieve ISO 9000 registration. The Hartley Group was the only
private-sector consultancy in a team of assorted resources to help the FAA Logistics
Center & NAS to achieve this prestigious certification. Led the initial Gap-Analysis
Audit and provided on-site consulting. Also trained many of the FAA staff in publicly
offered ISO 9000 courses.

LABINAL/CINCH CONNECTORS
The Hartley Group provided
QS-9000 Internal Auditor Training in Spanish to a diverse group of Cinch employees, from
managers to technicians. The third day of the course was a live-audit practice, using the
tools developed during the two days of classroom training. This effort was in support of
Cinch's upgrade of its ISO 9002 registered quality system to QS-9000 with the registrar
DNV.

Provided a complete range
of ISO services, including auditing, training, and consulting. Helped the organization to
develop innovative ways to comply with the ISO 9002 standard in an industry with unique
requirements (repair of used medical equipment - Ultrasound Transducers). The Hartley
Group continued to provide UltraSource's Internal Quality Audits after registration, using
one of our auditors with extensive experience in Medical Device manufacturing.

completed The Hartley Group's ISO 9000 Expanding Enterprise Program in 1998, helping them
through a period of growth to improved performance. Provided additional consulting
services to this manufacturer of valves and fittings for the Air Conditioning and Heating

From May 1996 to April
1997, provided QS-9000 consulting, training, and auditing to this 1st-tier supplier of
remanufactured automotive transmissions to GM. Performed review and redirection of the
facility's documentation, PPAP submissions, FMEA's, MSA studies, etc. Led internal audits
and performed miniature Pre-assessment audit before Fred Jones' successful April 1997
Registration by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

AZTECA MILLING COMPANY
Provided on-site
consultation and training during 1995-96, bringing Azteca to successful registration in
March 1996 with SGS registrar. Azteca in Edinburg was the first mill in the U.S. to
achieve ISO 9000 registration. Mr. Carrillo was project manager, and as a result of the
success, has since been promoted and relocated to the new Evansville facility. Services
included on-site consulting days, Implementation Workshop, Documentation Training,
Internal Auditor Training, coaching Internal Audit teams through live audits after the
classes, and reviewing draft procedures and manuals.

CHARLES MACHINE WORKS
(Ditch Witch Digging Equipment & Subsite Locator Devices)
Provided miscellaneous
consulting and training services to Charles Machine Works' main factory and its Subsite
Factory in 1994 and 1995. Additionally, I was one of the instructors (while still with
AT&T) of the Registered Lead Auditor Class attended by Mr. Meek and his two fellow ISO
coordinators. Det Norske Veritas (DNV) successfully registered both facilities in 1995.
